About 4ms Pedals

We've been making pedals since 1996

Are your pedals playing you? Our designs reflect our value of the sound, the musician, and the relationships between: maximum controllability and sounds extending beyond the typical (and sometimess into insanity....)

  • All our pedals use high-quality components: 3PDT stomp switches, enclosed jacks, 18 or 24mm potentiometers, die-cast aluminum or steel boxes
  • All our pedals use professional PC boards (double-sided "green" boards) and come in powdercoated boxes for durability and dependability
  • Custom your style: from adding more controls to a custom paint-job
  • Free repairs forever (for the original owner)
  • Tested to work with guitar, bass, keys, drum machine, vocals, homemade and exotic instruments
  • Powersupply included (USA shipments only): 9VDC negative center barrel plug, 150mA or more

Q: Can I barter for my pedal?

See our barter list

Q: Didn't you used be called something else?

A: We're one up! We changed our name from "3ms Pedals" to "4ms Pedals".

Q: What's commonsound?

A: 4ms pedals is a part of the commonsound collective of audio innovators. Commonsound is a non-profitting group of innovative effects designers, builders, tweakers, connectors, modders, and dreamers who share ideas, teach each other, build and sell electronic instruments and effects.
